Well, it’s official. Yesterday I was officially sworn in as an attorney here in Vermont. It took weeks of painstaking form filling out and months and months of waiting but I learned in January that I was accepted for admission. I would however, have to wait until the swearing in ceremony in Montpelier in order to actually practice law.

Yesterday was a “get out of jail free” day for the boys who got to skip school to join me up in Montpelier at the ceremony. It was a nice day and a nice ceremony. The swearing in ceremony took place in the chambers of the Supreme Court, since there were only 15 other candidates for admission, besides me. The justices joined us for a coffee and pastry reception afterwards which was nice also.

Here are some pictures from the day.
