It is cool, but not cold, and rainy here on the hill. I feel sorry for the poor peepers since this is not really ideal “taking in the foliage” weather. Rather, it is good weather for a fire, a good book and some soup. The boys are off doing conservation work at the Town Forest in Clarendon toward their 50 miler award. Not a great day for conservation work either, I would imagine, but everyone seemed well equipped for the weather and they like the forester, so no one seemed to mind heading out early this morning for that.

The rest of the week is supposed to be the same, cool and rainy. It’s a bummer, because I really wouldn’t mind cold and snow.
