Earlier today, a US-flag bearing ship was seized by Somalian pirates off the coast of Somalia. The crew of 20 Americans however was able to regain control of the ship from the pirates in part due to the efforts of its Vermont captain. Who would have guessed that some good ol’ Vermonter could save the day against pirates? Thankfully, the crew was unharmed and at last report had at least one of the pirates in custody. Sometimes it’s nice to be up before everyone else and have some sanity time. Sometimes…when it happens as it is just starting to get light out and not at 3 a.m. While I wouldn’t trade the chaos that is morning in our house, it is sometimes nice to have a few minutes to gather your thoughts and composure before rousing yourself and everyone else.
