Phoenix checking me out - got any food?
Tom was checking out a problem with Tyler’s snowmobile in the barn. The goats wanted a bit of an outing and we ran across the field through the deep snow to visit with him. They were very curious about the snowmobiles until one started…..then, not so much.

Here’s a cool picture of the ice on the windows of the barn……

Another cold day here, but bright and somewhat sunny. The wind chill is supposed to be below zero. We opted to hang around last night in lieu of going out to dinner because the thought of going back out into the windy, cold night just didn’t appeal. Instead we roasted hot peppers, drizzled them with olive oil, salt and garlic and ate that on homemade bread in front of the fire. Warm, cozy and comforting! We could hear the wind howling outside almost the whole evening. Haven’t been outside just yet, but I am sure that there are drifts almost up to my waist – and I am sure that I will find them when walking across the field outside to let the goats out for the day.
