I did find that the bleach compresses helped. 1 capful of bleach to a (bathroom) sink full of water. I soaked a washcloth in it and then wrung it out and applied it to my leg for about 2-3 mins. It definitely seemed to help. Good luck!

It seems for me if I get over heated, the itching starts and it takes days or weeks to get it calmed down. I use a anti itch drug Hydroxyzine HCL tab 25 mg.I can use it every 6-8 hours. I use topical benedryl and ice packs.

I don’t know about the bleach compress….can someone tell me about this. Sharon
